Our baby and children's farm, awarded with 4 flowers, offers plenty of space and a breathtaking panorama – and that in a central location in the heart of Salzburg.

Thanks to the quiet, traffic-free secluded location, children can play, romp, and experience real adventures on the mowed areas without a care in the world.

The free ski bus stops just 300 meters from our farm and takes you right into the ski paradise Snow Space Salzburg.

Our Prechtlalm is a true gem in the idyllic Marbachtal in Flachauwinkl and invites you to enjoy the beauty of nature. Whether you are a hiker, mountain biker, nature lover, or connoisseur – everyone will find something to enjoy with us.

Holiday paradise Flachau

But not only at the farm is there a lot to experience, Flachau also offers diverse opportunities. In winter, the Snow Space Salzburg ski area is a skiing paradise in the middle of Ski amadé. Tobogganing fun is guaranteed, and at the nearby Therme Amadé, you can really pamper yourself. In summer, a beautiful hike to our Almblick, swimming fun at the nearby Reitecksee, or an exciting ride with the Lucky Flitzer cannot be missed.

We had wonderful days at Prechtlhof and were thrilled! The secluded location on the slope was ideal for us and our children. At the farm, we mostly spent time in the beautiful garden with trampoline, table tennis, loungers, etc. We were especially enchanted by the lovely animals, especially the cats! It was also very nice that some other families were there, providing companionship for the children. The farm is perfectly located for excursions in all directions, and the owners are super nice. Highly recommended :-)

Beautiful farm and perfect for a family vacation in the mountains. This was our first time here and we find it great. Due to the location, it is very quiet, but there is also plenty to discover for both young and old. In the early morning, we fetch our eggs from the assigned hen, and in the evening we participate in feeding the cows in the barn. The apartment is clean and functional and completely sufficient. The only thing is that the Wi-Fi reception could be better, but it is not that important during vacation. The nearby (free!) swimming lake is recommended in summer, and overall it is a perfect starting point for many activities in the region. We would love to come back here!

We have already visited Prechtlhof for the 3rd time and will definitely come again! The location is beautiful, quiet, with many cozy places to sit and many animals. The children are allowed to help on the farm. The holiday apartment is cozy, large enough, and clean.

The farm of the Rettensteiner family is the insider tip for me in summer and winter. Great location high on the mountain with a fantastic view of Reitdorf, Flachau, and Altenmarkt. Beautifully equipped apartments. In summer, a visit to the Alm belonging to the farm is also worthwhile. It can't get better than this. Tip No. 1.

The children can help in the barn and feed the animals. There are also additional offerings that make children's hearts beat faster (tread tractor, playground with sandbox and trampoline, etc.).
